The exams were held in the month of April 2011 The application for admission to the diploma can be collected from schools, 25 June 2011.The TNDTE published the results of the review of the diploma held in the month of October 2010.The illiterate in Tamil Nadu is 80.33% in 2011, which is above the national survey conducted by Industry body Assocham average.A Tamil Nadu ranks high among states in India, with about 100% gross enrollment ratio (GER) in primary education and primary higher in southern India, where Tamilnadu has 37 universities, 454 engineering colleges and 1150 arts college, 2550 schools and 5000 hospitals.
